Guided Discovery Tours at the Museum
These 60-minute “private field trips” focus on a particular theme. Museum educators will guide students through a variety of activities utilizing the Museum’s exhibits as part of the themed tour.

This special behind-the-scenes class provides an inside
look at how animals came to live here, how they are cared for
at the High Desert Museum. The class also looks at
museum-related careers.
DISCOVERY TRUNKS
These are curriculum-based learning tools designed to enrich
and enliven classroom learning through authentic materials and
hands-on lessons. Trunks are a wonderful pre- or post-activity
for the Discovery Classes.
