Every gift makes a difference!

We’re all reeling from the crisis brought on by the novel coronavirus. We hope you and your loved ones are safe and healthy. At the High Desert Museum, we temporarily closed our doors on March 17 to help stem the spread of the virus.

During this time, the Museum will continue to be an educational resource for all. Click here to see all the programs and content on our new virtual resources that you can access from anywhere!

We’re making plans to ensure the Museum is as vibrant as ever when you return. Yet if possible, we could really use your help. Nearly half of our earned revenue comes from public-facing activities, such as admission, the store and the cafe. Your gift helps sustain the community-inspiring exhibitions, educational programs, wildlife encounters and art offerings that connect visitors to the beauty and ecology of the High Desert. It’s what we’ve done for almost 40 years. Your donation helps educate all generations with unforgettable learning experiences that are not available anywhere else.

The High Desert Museum is a 501(c)3. Donations of any amount are deeply appreciated. If you are interested in making a sustaining gift on a recurring monthly or quarterly basis, please call Director of Philanthropy Kathy Baczko at 541-382-4754 ext. 248.

If you would prefer, you can mail your donation to the High Desert Museum, 59800 South Highway 97, Bend, OR 97702. Thank you!
