From explosive eruptions to quiet lava flows, the volcanoes scattered throughout Central Oregon make up one of the most active sections of the Cascade Range. Join Dr. Daniele McKay, instructor in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Oregon, to explore ancient volcanoes and consider what volcanic activity might look like in the future, including the growing uplift on South Sister.
