Events in the High Desert
Set on 135 acres of serene, forested beauty in Bend, Oregon, the High Desert Museum offers an elevated definition of rustic elegance and warmth that evokes wonder and inspires curiosity. From stately exhibit halls to versatile outdoor spaces, the High Desert Museum provides the perfect venue for a memorable night, whether it be a corporate party, a wedding or rehearsal dinner, anniversary party, Bar Mitzvah, Bat Mitzvah, family reunion, or conference.
Mix & Mingle
Mix & Mingle events are best for larger groups that prefer a standing reception. This package includes three hours private Museum access, cocktail tables, 6’ and 8’ tables, access to select exhibits for groups of more than 50 people*, and staff for set up and tear down of Museum-owned equipment.
A Night at the Museum
Whether it’s a corporate dinner or a rehearsal dinner, having a night at the Museum is sure to be a crowd pleaser. This package includes four hours private Museum access, 60” round tables, cocktail tables, 6’ and 8’ tables, chairs, access to select exhibits*, and staff for set up and tear down of Museum-owned equipment.
Say “I Do” at the High Desert Museum
Voted Best Museum or Arts Venue outside Portland by Oregon Bride Magazine in 2016 and 2017, the High Desert Museum is sure to make your night an unforgettable one that you and your guests will love. The Museum offers a wedding package that includes:
- Five hours private Museum access (including décor set up and tear down)
- 1-hour ceremony rehearsal up to two weeks prior to wedding day
- 60” round tables, cocktail tables, 6’ and 8’ tables, and chairs
- Table linens and cloth napkins
- Access to select exhibits*
- Staff for set up and tear down of Museum-owned equipment
Depending on availability, some parties may have access to Classrooms A and B beginning at 2pm.
Facility Rental Hours
Our beautifully unique space is available to rent beginning at 5:00pm March through October, and 4:00pm November through February. Ask the Museum Event Manager for more details regarding event start times.
Additional time or equipment may be available for any special event for an added fee.
*Please note that all outdoor exhibits and wildlife habitats will be closed/off limits for the duration of your event, except for additionally leased outdoor spaces.
