Large, diverse natural areas such as the Marble Mountain Wilderness Area in California function to help populations persist during times of extreme change. Join Dr. Robert Fernau, research associate at the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of California, Davis to hear an inspiring 36-year case history of 70 butterfly species in the Marble Mountain Wilderness. Understanding how their populations survive can teach us about the environmental factors relevant to the persistence of other populations over time.

FREE but registration is required. This is a virtual event and an email with login instructions will be sent the day of the event by 12:00 pm.
