Kids Camp – Fall & Winter
Registration for Fall and Winter Kids Camps opened on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 6:00 am. Camp slots are first come, first served.
The Museum offers extra special kids camp experiences during the deep months of winter. Camps provide fun, hands-on activities for your child when school is out for the holidays. Offering K-1st and 2nd-3rd grade camp experiences.
Thanksgiving Three-Day Camp
Monday, November 25 – Wednesday, November 27
Patterns Galore! This fun fall camp adventure will turn you into a pattern pro. We’ll explore the hidden patterns in nature, create our own colorful designs and more! By the end of camp, you’ll be able to spot patterns all around you.
$180, $225 with extended care, Members receive 20% discount

Calling all young bird enthusiasts! Observe bird wings and nests up close. Learn about the fastest animal in the world! Join us to explore the fascinating world of our feathered friends.

Thursday, January 2 – Magnificent Mammals
Dive into life as a mammal in the High Desert. Find out how mammals adapt to their environments, what food they eat and more. Get ready for a fun-filled adventure learning about our furry friends!

Friday, January 3 – Herptile Hullabaloo
Join us for a slithering good time learning all about snakes, lizards, turtles and more! We’ll observe frogs, snakes and turtles and find out how they see, hear and move through the world.

KIDS CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you must cancel your registration for any reason, please notify the Museum as soon as possible. If you cancel, more than three weeks out, you will receive a 75% refund. A 50% refund will be given to cancellations made two weeks prior to the first day of camp. Cancellations made less than two weeks prior to the first day of camp will not be refunded. Be aware that refunds will not be given for partial or unattended days.
If the High Desert Museum cancels the program for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
