Natural History Pub: Central Oregon Volcanoes

Central Oregon’s landscape is dominated by majestic volcanic peaks that seem unchanged by time. But these seemingly quiet volcanoes represent one of the most active sections of the Cascade Volcanic Range. Join Dr. Daniele McKay, senior instructor in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Oregon, to explore the geologic history of our local volcanoes and consider what future volcanic activity might look like in Central Oregon.
