High Desert Museum Summer Kids Camp
It’s that time of year again! Get your kiddos signed up for this year’s lottery for our incredibly popular camps offered for 1st graders, 2nd graders, and 3rd to 5th graders.
Registration lottery opens Thursday, January 24 at 9:00 am and closes Sunday, February 3 at 11:59 pm.
-Ologies
Zoology, geology, ichthyology, oh my! Come learn about different fields that scientists study. Each day, we will explore a different field of science and learn about the natural world.

Tree Life
Join us for an adventure in which we’ll explore the amazing world of trees and learn about the creatures that call them home!

Are you curious about the green world around us? Join us for a leafy and fun-filled exploration of the amazing world of plants!

Wildlife Detectives
What can you learn by looking closely at animals? Explore the world around you and observe wildlife and their habitats through scat, tracks and skulls.

Water World
Dive deep to find out who lives in rivers and ponds and explore the importance of water for plants, animals and people. Learn about aquatic biology as you explore the great, watery world!

Five-day camps: $300, $375 with extended care
Four-day camps: $240, $300 with extended care

Registration will be through a lottery system. Caregivers will be notified by Tuesday, February 18 via email if their child(ren) have been selected for Summer Kids Camp. Once registration status is confirmed, caregivers must provide payment by Friday, February 28 or registration will be forfeited to the next child on the waitlist.

KIDS CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you must cancel your registration for any reason, please notify the Museum as soon as possible. If you cancel, more than three weeks out, you will receive a 75% refund. A 50% refund will be given to cancellations made two weeks prior to the first day of camp. Cancellations made less than two weeks prior to the first day of camp will not be refunded. Be aware that refunds will not be given for partial or unattended days.
If the High Desert Museum cancels the program for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
